Current Opportunities- Inside Sales Executive

Full time position. Candidates would be responsible for successfully selling electronic components into various industry segments, customer and territories. Duties include identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities, presenting to all levels of organizations and preparing formal proposals. Leading negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making processes, and overcoming objections to closure. 

MicroRam provides a comprehensive industry leading training program which will include but is not limited to; systems training, industry training, sales training, value added solutions, and customer interaction.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining an active customer base.
  • Meeting established goals, budgets and objectives established by management.
  • Working with established customers and developing new lead/prospects.
  • Establishing relationships with buyers/management at OEM/CEM/EMS's (both domestically and internationally)
  • Manage incoming requirements and quoting procedures.
  • Coordinate all customer order transactions and order management.
  • Using custom designed proprietary market analysis software. (ERP and CRM)
  • Occasional limited customer site visits/travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of at least 1-2 years of successful general sales experience or experience within the franchised or independent electronic distribution is preferred.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree is also preferred but not required. 
  • Ability to make proactive decisions and handle customer service related issues.
  • Bilingual is a plus. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Career driven with a professional attitude.
  • Works well independently.
  • Ability to prioritize themselves throughout the day to meet deadlines, close deals, achieve goals and have excellent time management skills. 
  • MS Office experience with Word & Excel.

Salary- Salary and commission commensurate with experience  

 

Current Opportunities- Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Full time position. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Accuracy, efficiency and great time management are key to the success in this position. Candidates will not work on an assembly line. May handle large boxes and pallets of product.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Pulling product, perform final inspection for defects and accuracy, packing and shipping of customer orders. 
  • Freight carrier data processing with UPS, Fedex and DHL.
  • Re-counts of product.
  • Weekly cycle counts.
  • Prepare invoices for daily shipment.
  • Overall cleanlines and organization of the department.
  • Must have good vision with the ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Light assistance with building maintenance.

Qualifications

  • One year or more Warehouse or Distribution experience. 
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Career driven with a professional attitude.
  • Works well independently.

Salary- $14.00 /hour.  

 

Current Opportunities- Quality Control Receiving Inspector

Full time position. Attention to detail, efficiency and great time management are key to the success in this position. Must be able to work with very small and detail product while sitting for long periods of time. Position will not work with large boxes or pallets of product or on an assembly line. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Visual inspection of microelectronics, integrated circuits and semiconductors. 
  • Counts, measures and researches product to verfiy contents of shipments against bills of lading, invoices and purchase orders. 
  • Working daily with microscope and magnifying glass to complete the comprehensive inspection of incoming such as integrated circuits, electronic components, resistors, capacitors and board level components.
  • Completing detailed worksheets provided to identify discrepancies on incoming and outgoing product.
  • Documents data obtained during all quality inspection activities, consistent with company policies and quality certifications.
  • Communicates significant issues identified during inspection. 
  • Overall cleanliness and organization of the department.
  • Must have good vision with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

 

Qualifications

  • One year or more Warehouse or Distribution experience. 
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good vision with the ability to work with small parts while sitting for long periods of time. 
  • Career driven with a professional attitude.
  • Self-motivated and works well independently.
  • Ability to shift priorities to fulfil department needs. 

Salary- $14.00 /hour. 

 

Current Opportunities- Excess Inventory Buyer

We're currently looking for ambitious individuals to join our growing Inventory Asset Management team. Candidates need to have a solid business sense, work well in a team and have strong communication and negotiation skills. MicroRam will train you and provide the tools ncessary for success! Clear, reasonable goals will be provided for growth and promotion path. This is a great opportunity for someone who's willing to put in the work up front for a longstanding career!   

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prospecting OEMs and EMS providers for excess and obsolete inventory lists
  • Assist Account Executives with new and existing supplier development. 
  • Developing long term relationships with new and existing OEM and EMS companies 
  • Contact development research.
  • Contact related CRM entry. 
  • Heavy outbound B2B phone calls, email and social media contact. 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school dimploma or GED required 
  • Outbound prospecting experience required. 
  • MS Office experience with Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Career driven with a professional attitude
  • Must have excellent time management skills and handle changing priorities
  • Working knowledge of relevant social media communication tools
  • Works well independently

Salary- $14.00-$15.00 per hour based on experience. 

 

Current Opportunities- Business Development Associate

We're currently looking for ambitious individuals to join our growing Sales team. We're looking for high energy Business Development Associates eager to learn about the electronics industry. Candidates need to have a solid business sense, work well in a team and have a strong phone presence. MicroRam will train you and provide the tools necessary for success. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Research market and industry trends for viable sales opportunities. 
  • Pre-qualifying leads for Inside Sales Executives. 
  • Evaluating data and create detailed report of findings. 
  • Work hand in hand with Inside Sales Executives for customer account management. 
  • Light B2B outbound phone calls to customers and prospects worldwide. 
  • Heavy internet research.
  • Email marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain and update CRM database and pipeline of prospects.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • One year or more prior B2B sales, telemarketing or lead generation experience. 
  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Technical skills in knowledge of Microsoft Office- Particulary Excel and Outlook. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Career driven with a professional attitude. 
  • Must have excellent time management skills and handle changing priorities. 
  • Ability to work well independently or as an active member of a team.

Salary- $14.00-$15.00 per hour based on experience.
