Current Opportunities- Inside Sales Executive

Full time position. Candidates would be responsible for successfully selling electronic components into various industry segments, customer and territories. Duties include identifying and properly qualifying business opportunities, presenting to all levels of organizations and preparing formal proposals. Leading negotiations, coordinating complex decision-making processes, and overcoming objections to closure. 

MicroRam provides a comprehensive industry leading training program which will include but is not limited to; systems training, industry training, sales training, value added solutions, and customer interaction.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining an active customer base.
  • Meeting established goals, budgets and objectives established by management.
  • Working with established customers and developing new lead/prospects.
  • Establishing relationships with buyers/management at OEM/CEM/EMS's (both domestically and internationally)
  • Manage incoming requirements and quoting procedures.
  • Coordinate all customer order transactions and order management.
  • Using custom designed proprietary market analysis software. (ERP and CRM)
  • Occasional limited customer site visits/travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of at least 1-2 years of successful general sales experience or experience within the franchised or independent electronic distribution is preferred.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree is also preferred but not required. 
  • Ability to make proactive decisions and handle customer service related issues.
  • Bilingual is a plus. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Career driven with a professional attitude.
  • Works well independently.
  • Ability to prioritize themselves throughout the day to meet deadlines, close deals, achieve goals and have excellent time management skills. 
  • MS Office experience with Word & Excel.

Salary- Salary and commission commensurate with experience  

 

Current Opportunities- Sales Assistant

Full time position. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Accuracy, efficiency and great time management are key to the success in this position. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support of Program Account manager in all daily administrative tasks.
  • Heavy email and phone correspondence to customers for order follow ups and expediting.
  • Process all sales ordesr and pro-forma invoices.
  • Data entry of customer and vendor record maintenance.
  • Data entry with Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and data formatting.
  • Data entry of Program Account sales quotes, purchase ordesr and requirements to purchase.
  • Maintain tracking on all customer orders and expediting of orders.
  • Inbound product tracking and expediting.
  • Customer online portal maintenance.
  • Schedule and participate in customer conference call with Program Account Manager.
  • Maintain Excel reports, inventory bonds and managed inventory tracking.  

Qualifications

  • One year or more Administrative experience.

Current Opportunities- Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Full time position. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Accuracy, efficiency and great time management are key to the success in this position. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Counts, measure and researches product to verify contents of shipments against bills of lading, invoices and purchase orders. 
  • Working daily with microscope and magnifying glass to complete the comprehensive inspection of incoming product, ranging from integrated circuits, electronic components, resistors, capacitors and board level components. 
  • Completing detailed worksheets provided to identify discrepancies on incoming and outgoing product. 
  • Documents data obtained during all quality inspection activities, consistent with company policies and quality certifications. 
  • Pulling product, perform final inspection for defects and accuracy, packing and shipping of customer orders. 
  • Freight carrier data processing with UPS, Fedex and DHL.
  • Re-counts of product.
  • Weekly cycle counts.
  • Prepare invoices for shipment.
  • Overall cleanlines and organization of the department.
  • Must have good vision with the ability to lift 40 pounds.

Qualifications

  • One year or more Warehouse or Distribution experience.

Current Opportunities- Controller

We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee all financial aspects of the business and help drive the company's financial strategy and planning. The Controller will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company, identifying potential risks to profitability and being the primary point of contact with the outside accountants on both tax and financial reporting matters. The Controller should also possess a broad knowledge of accounting, finance and business principles with the ultimate goal of helping the company achieve and maintain profitability and long-term success.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting package (statement and analysis) monthly
  • Supervise all accounting and finance personnel
  • Audit, reporting and control of owned and 3rd party inventories- Consignment, Bonded and 3PL
  • Budgeting / forecasting 
  • Analysis, reconciliation and monitoring of pertinent GL accounts 
  • Expense analysis
  • Administration of tax schedules and assistance to CPA firm
  • Propose tax strategies
  • Management of cash flow projections, analysis and reporting
  • Depreciation schedule management
  • Develop and manage finance reserve methodologies
  • Assistance with new ERP transition and implementation
  • Manage and supervise the preparation of
    • Accounts payable; posting, reconciling, and resolving vendor discrepancies
    • Accounts receivable; credit approvals, collections, reconciling and posting
    • Prepare and post customer discounts / rebates
    • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
    • Payroll and commissions

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 7+ years direct Accounting experience (either public or industry) 
  • Four year accounting or finance degree a must
  • CPA license is a must
  • Strong financial reporting and analysis experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and tax knowledge
  • Distribution experience a plus
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other financial management software

Salary- $75,000 - $85,000 / year commensurate with experience 

 

Current Opportunities- Excess Inventory Buyer

We're currently looking for ambitious individuals to join our growing Inventory Asset Management team. Candidates need to have a solid business sense, work well in a team and have strong communication and negotiation skills. MicroRam will train you and provide the tools ncessary for success!   • Prospecting OEMs and EMS providers for excess and obsolete inventory lists
  • Management of the OEM excess offers database

  • Developing long term relationships with new and existing OEM and EMS companies 
  • Achieve goals and monthly profit quotas
  • Develop and close consignment inventory contracts
