Current Opportunities- Purchasing Assistant

Full time administrative assistant to Purchasing department. Candidates must be well organized, dependable and self-motivated. No previous purchasing experience is needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Administrative support to Purchasing department on all daily tasks.
  • Heavy email and phone correspondence to vendors for order follow ups and expediting.
  • Follow ups on sales requirements to purchase. 
  • Heavy data entry of quotes, purchase orders and requirements to purchase.
  • Creation of new and maintenance of existing purchase orders.
  • Data entry of vendor records.
  • Data entry with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
  • Maintain tracking on all orders and expediting of purchases.
  • Maintain and update department procedures.
  • Vendor quality assessments.

Qualifications

  • One year or more Administrative or Purchasing experience. 
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • MS Office experience with Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Career driven with a professional attitude.
  • Must have excellent time management.
  • Works well independently.

Salary- $12.00 to $14.00/hour based on experience.  

 

Current Opportunities- Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Full time position. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Accuracy, efficiency and great time management are key to the success in this position. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Counts, measure and researches product to verify contents of shipments against bills of lading, invoices and purchase orders. 
  • Working daily with microscope and magnifying glass to complete the comprehensive inspection of incoming product, ranging from integrated circuits, electronic components, resistors, capacitors and board level components. 
  • Completing detailed worksheets provided to identify discrepancies on incoming and outgoing product. 
  • Documents data obtained during all quality inspection activities, consistent with company policies and quality certifications. 
  • Pulling product, perform final inspection for defects and accuracy, packing and shipping of customer orders. 
  • Freight carrier data processing with UPS, Fedex and DHL.
  • Re-counts of product.
  • Weekly cycle counts.
  • Prepare invoices for shipment.
  • Overall cleanlines and organization of the department.
  • Must have good vision with the ability to lift 40 pounds.

Qualifications

  • One year or more Warehouse or Distribution experience. 
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Career driven with a professional attitude.
  • Works well independently.

Salary- $11.00 /hour.  

 

Current Opportunities- Accounting Assistant

Full time assistant to Accounting department. Candidates must be well organized, dependable and self-motivated.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support of Accounting Director in daily tasks.
  • Heavy data entry and phone calls.
  • Heavy scanning, filing, copying, emailing and faxing.
  • Accounts Payable duties with weekly payables, reconciling accounts, expense reporting, wire transfers, RMAs, reference check and general A/P assignments.
  • Acconting Receivable duties with collection calls, customer RMAs, reference checks and general A/R assignments. 
  • Assistance with department document control.
  • Ability to work with confidential files and records.

Qualifications

  • One year or more Administrative or Accounting experience.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles. 
  • Ability to accurately perform mathematical calculations.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable practices. 
  • MS Office experience with Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Career driven with a professional attitude.
  • Works well independently.

Salary- $12.00 to $14.00 /hour based on experience.
